Capability is for everyone

Technology this powerful should make you feel more capable, not less.

That's why these classes exist. In small, in-person groups, with a community that stays with you long after, you'll go from unsure to capable, at your own pace and never on your own.

Why it works

In person, on purpose. And you're never on your own.

Real rooms beat video

There are endless online AI courses. This isn't one of them. People learn faster when they apply ideas to their own lives, in a room, with others around them and someone to ask the moment they get stuck. Doing beats watching. You might call it old-fashioned, but it's how learning actually works, and it's the whole reason this is taught in person.

A community that keeps going

Learning doesn't stop when the class ends. Everyone who takes a class joins an ongoing community of learners who keep exploring together, trade what they discover, and help each other along. The tools move fast, and here you won't be keeping up alone.

The courses

Three journeys, three levels.

Each course stands on its own, pitched at its own level of challenge. Take the one that suits you now, or follow all three in sequence as your confidence grows. The choice is yours.

Level 1 · Foundations

Meet your thinking partner

Foundations is for complete beginners: anyone who feels a flicker of worry when AI comes up and wants to finally understand what all the noise is about. No experience needed, and nothing to install before you arrive.

In a small in-person group, you'll meet AI as a patient thinking partner rather than a mysterious black box. We start from zero and build real comfort: how to talk to it, what it is good and bad at, and how to put it to work on things you actually care about, whether that's writing, planning a trip, a hobby, or the everyday tasks that pile up.

You'll work on your own device, so everything you make stays with you. We move at the pace you set, and you'll leave each session having done something real. By the end you'll be able to sit down with AI and use it with confidence, and you'll understand what everyone around you has been talking about.

When: Mondays, 6:00-7:30pm · six 90-minute sessions

Dates: Sept 21, Sept 28, Oct 5, Oct 19, Oct 26, Nov 2 (no class Oct 12, Indigenous Peoples' / Columbus Day)

Where: Location TBD (Boston area)

Price: $299 for the six-week course

Level 2 · Fluency

Build real habits

Fluency is for people who have dabbled and want to go further. You've tried ChatGPT or Claude once or twice, and you're ready to make AI a real part of how you work and live.

In this small in-person group, we build habits and workflows you'll keep using. We go deeper on getting reliable results, on writing, research, planning, and the recurring tasks that eat your time. We also cover where to trust it, where to check it, and how to stay firmly in the driver's seat.

Bring your own device so your work stays with you, and we'll tie everything to your real interests and projects. You'll leave able to fold AI into your week without a second thought, and clear about what it can and can't do for you.

When: Thursdays, 6:00-7:30pm · six 90-minute sessions

Dates: Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 15, Oct 22, Oct 29

Where: Location TBD (Boston area)

Price: $299 for the six-week course

Level 3 · Multiplier

Make AI do the work

Multiplier is the step most people don't realize they can take. Using AI, you'll start writing small programs and directing AI "agents" that carry out real work for you: the kind of automation that saves hours every week and used to require a developer.

If you're scared of spreadsheets, this is aimed squarely at you. You don't need a technical background. You need a willingness to try and a real task worth automating. We work hands-on, in a small in-person group, turning things you do by hand into things a machine does for you.

This course is in development and not yet scheduled. If it sounds like the edge you're looking for, inquire about upcoming sessions and you'll be first to know when dates are set.

Why this, why now

And yes, the sooner you start, the easier it is.

Your skills are aging by the month, and the tools keep moving.
Colleagues are getting more done, faster, and it's starting to show.
Friends and family talk about AI, and you quietly nod along.

You're not imagining the pace, and it's fair to feel it. The good part: getting comfortable is faster than you think, and it starts with a single class. The sooner you begin, the smaller the step, and the worry turns into confidence.

What we believe

Capability is for everyone.

Not just the young. Not just the technical. Not just the people who already feel at home with a new tool.

The most powerful technology in a generation shouldn't belong to a handful of people. It should belong to anyone willing to sit down and learn it.

And you learn it the way people have always learned hard things: in a room, with other people, doing the work with your own hands.

So that's what we do here. We take what looks intimidating, make it plain, and stay with you until it clicks.

You leave capable, ready to sit down and use these tools yourself.
